Thought i would start one of these for my boy Derick.
He is a 1987 sd3 213s with 52k on the clock and needs some love..
Plans are..
Full service
Weldings
Stainless exhaust
Lowering
Got some 13" star mags that are being refurbed
Clean n tidy as much as i can.

Lipari Blue I believe. It was replaced by Henley Blue in 1988 ish!

my advice would be keep whatever you take off (thats not broken) so it can be reverted at any time.

So gave derick a Oil and Filter change, also fresh coolant and flushed out the header tank as was manky. Also put a new thermostat in, not 100% sure its the right one as it still runs abit hot so going to run without one tomorrow see if the temps go normal then get another...
So found the manual for him in the boot, not sure if this was the last service he had but i thought i would carry on what the early owners started haha
Next is cambelt, water pumparoo, welding work then some mods :0

Perfect name for it buddy, got a Green Rover 25 called Brian myself.
