Hello everybody!

First of all thank you for activating my account! I'm really very happy to be part of this forum community! :)
I'm from Italy and I'm happy to share with you some pictures of my twenty-two years old Rover 200, 1.4L, that I own since 1998!
She's not yet well customized and tuned like the many beatiful ones that I could see here on the forum but I hope to find here tips,
tricks and suggestions for doing that on my 200!

I've just started the application process to register my Rover 200 into the historic vehicle italian registry managed by the ASI Association
(the italian classic car authority). The first step has been successfully passed since the main requirements is that the car must be well-maintened
and original in all of its parts: engine, bodyshell, ...
I hope soon to share other good news! :)

She could be an old lady because of the 22 years but, as a young lady, she still knows how to run on the road and I still enjoy very much driving her! :)
She only asks me to be regularly serviced! :angel

It's my second Rover since I previously owned a 1992 Rover 216 GSi 1.6L (imho a really great car!).

I will mostly read posts rather than write because I'm not a technician or a mechanic, so I can get the chance to learn!

You have a very original looking car there so my suggestion would be to keep her that way - but I would say that wouldn't I :)

Good luck with your registration too. Please let us know how you get on.

I think I understand what you mean. In some way it's like the Hamlet's doubt "To be or not to be"! :)
For the moment I have to keep her as original as possible because of the registration.
Afterwards, I can't guarantee I can resist giving her a "new" look! ...expecially seeing the 200's and 25's amazing pictures here on the forum!

Imho one of the aspects that contributes to the great charm of the Rover brand is that Rover cars have been designed and produced with a beautiful design
(simple but attractive, and "simple" often means "genius"!) but are equally suitable for being well-tuned and well-customized, while remaining intact in their
original personality. That's why (imho!) Rover cars design is still unique, modern and fascinating despite the passing of the years until today.
