My headlights recently started playing up.
Side lights work and so does high beam but no head lights. Any help appreciated.

Have you verified lack of voltage?

I had this once and it was a relay under the dash (driver's side). Main beam worked as did sidelights but not dipped beam.

Sounds silly but have you checked the bulbs ?

It is possible you may have had a surge & blown both Dip-beam filaments.

It did turn out to be the pink relay under the dash.
All the available help and advice from members is a great reason to be a member of this club.

Sorry to revive an old thread. But where under the dash was the relay?

When you're lying upside-down in the driver's footwell, looking up at the underside of the dashboard, it's under the dash, top left hand corner (as you look at it). Pink, as stated above. You can't miss it but it is a bit fiddly to get at.

I might be being dense, but I can't see a pink relay. I've attached pics from under the dash if anyone could point me in the right direction
