Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

As I have only just had the rover 420sli(d) I do not know if the Cam Belts have been renewed. The car has done 93.000 miles so anyone give me advice please.

if you have no history of when last belt change was just get it done now

cheaper in the long run and it wont be playing on your mind when the engine is at the end of its rev range

Thank you. Question is who does them and what sort of price am I looking at as I wouldn't know how to even begin that sort of work.

There are two belts on your 400Mk2 diesel which will require changing, one for the cam and the other the fuel pump. I think the change period is every 90,000 or ? years. If you don't have any service history I would recommend on getting it changed
