The Roverman of Portugal (now in the UK)

Hello everybody!
It's a great pleasure to be part of this Rover family, especially the R8!!
After several months of having trouble accessing my account here on the forum, I finally managed to resolve it with the help of John Batchelor.
My name is Hugo Albuquerque Martins, I'm 32 years old, and since I was a child (8 years old) I've been a huge Rover enthusiast, with a special fondness for the R8.
I'm Portuguese, but I very recently moved to the UK. I'm living in the south of England, in Southampton.
My passion for Rovers started when I was very young, because my parents had a 1993 Rover 214Si in British racing green. They sold the car in 2004, but my passion for the brand was already great.
When I turned 18, I spent days, or even weeks, searching for my parents car. Unfortunately, I eventually discovered it had been scrapped
I ended up getting a Rover just like my parents, with exactly the same configuration. The only difference was that instead of being an Si, it was an SLi. Years later I ended up selling it (I deeply regret it) to buy an R8 GTi.
Meanwhile, I've owned more than 15 Rover R8s...
Currently, I only own one, which is with me in the UK. It's a 1994 Rover 216 Cabriolet (D16A8 122hp) in white gold with beige interiors.
Besides the convertible, I own other Rovers:
A 1995 Rover 827 V6 Coupe in British racing green with beige interiors
A 1999 Rover 620SLDi in British racing green with grey interiors
A 2000 Rover 75 in woodwedge blue with beige interiors
They are all Rovers, but all different from each other.
I don't really have a favorite for that very reason, but both the 216 cabriolet and the 827 have a special place in my heart.
I'll try to add a photo of each one to this post as soon as possible.
In short, that's my story related to Rover.
Cheers!!
