If anyones intrested:
I fitted my new radiator but ran into a prob. The fan sensor was leaking, (it wasnt leaking before, only when fitted in teh new one) for some reason i didnt get one with the new radiator. So as i was using the original bolts and screws had to also use this. I put it in and reattached the radiator. filled it up and the bloody thing was leaking from the sensor. Anyway to cut a long story short after, having a paddy i noticed that it said on the sensor "DO NOT REUSE" oh great, thats my prob, not that it isnt fitted in properly. So i went back to motor mania and paid for a new one £6.99 instead of £8.99. The gave me a lil discount.
Anyway its all fitted and will not go above 1 quarter on the temp guage. This included thrashing it for 1 junction on the M6. The car really feels a lot better now ive changed the radiator. It feels smother, better erm just more healthy

Hmm I'd not be too happy if my temp gauge didn't get past 1/4. That either means the thermostat is stuck open or the fan switch is faulty/the wrong one or the temp sensor for the gauge is duff. The temp should stay around the middle of the gauge if all is healthy.

poitentially very....
never oper the expansion bottle when the rad is hot, or you risk introducing air locks in the system, as water boils at 100 deg, but under pressure, it is alot higher, the moment you open that lid, all the pressure stoping the water from boiling is lost.
