Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

have just bought 418 diesel estate 94. window mechanism is broken is this an awkward or difficult job to replace with another from the scrapyard.
also what causes the central locking on the passenger door to fail and how would i rectify it, can anybody give me a rough guide to having the cam belt changed.

It maybe the relay that has failed.

Sorry I can't help with the mechanism as I haven't had to replace one yet.

If it is similiar to the Rover 600 then it is fairly simple, more fiddly than anything els.e

my window was not working although i didn't have to eplace mech i had toplay with it, fiddly but easly done, but wear long sleeves!!!! otherwise you'll get sore and scratched arms
