Happily minding my own business driving the cabrio about 300 yards from my parents house i spot this with a couple of old boys sat around playing with a spare wheel on a fiat duplo.

Now seeing as any rover r8 round here usually belongs to me i was very interested to know more.
So spun the cabby round and went to have a chat.

Owned it for years, 59k miles, "will own it until it or he dies which ever comes first" his words.
K92 220 nasp on private plate
bodywork 6/10 and needs a spoiler refitting due to just being holes there.

Explained who i was ect and asked nicely if i could have a few pics.

Even gave them my 200oc sticker as a thank you :S

And here they are:

I reckon he didn't know why he was there.

Most R8s I reckon would guide their drivers to your place if they weren't concentrating on turning the wheel. There's an inexorable pull.

Wait long enough and your next purchase will just roll up outside...

Maybe it already has :wink3

Just waiting for the call :laughing2

even though i have no where to put it, i think i'd just ship it right off to my bodywork guy giving me a couple of weeks to find somewhere suitable for it.
