Lovely car and so rare
I've never seen those alcantara seats in a ZR before, were they late options in the monogram program?

I don't know tbh! I thought they were all like this...
We need somebody with some MG ZR brochures
I am thinking of putting them back in at somepoint - not just to protect the rare Norse originals but I find them far too soft and squishy for something that meant to be a bit sporty

The ZR seats are from a facelift ZR, think they were standard on 160’s and an option on the lower specified cars.

They actually suit the car well John
I was looking through some old brochures a couple of months back at trophy cars. It mentioned heated seats which I'd also not heard of but I didn't notice anything about alternative materials
My ZT has very similar seats to yours , which again not seen in brochures.
I think towards the end all sorts happened and brochures weren't updated possibly because of costs.
Mind that didn't stop them from building a supercar and converting the 75/ZT to RWD at great expense
