Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

Closer to the time , entrants will be sent a pack containing joining instructions, a windscreen sticker and entry passes.

There is no charge for visitors to the event but they will be limited to the external car park, as no spectators are allowed inside the Millbrook site.

We are excited to be able to announce that the original yellow Tomcat Affair car will be present at the event. It has very rarely been seen in public before.

27 acceptance emails were sent out today, some with conditions attached.... such as mine which we're "get it finished and MOT'd, then send us the photos "

Firstly, apologies for the delay, we’ve been sorting out the required insurance cover for this event. It has not been easy and we have, possibly appropriately, been ‘going around in circles’ to find the insurance cover we need to satisfy Millbrook’s needs at an affordable cost.

We have now that cover and this has allowed us to understand the overall cost of the event and calculate the price. We’ve now set this at £45 per car and has been calculated on 30 participating cars.

We hope that this price will not put off anyone from taking part but please bear in mind that this is a unique opportunity to celebrate the Coupe’s 30 Anniversary and that the clubs are just about covering our costs.

This covers Millbrook for any damage to their facilities, our club marshals at the event and damage to other cars in the event of incident but not to cars if their driver(s) are themselves negligent.

Note: If participants want to take out further cover, such as ‘track day’ cover they should do this themselves.

Participants will shortly be sent an email where they can pay for their entry tickets and once paid, their entry pack will be sent to the address on the entry form.

If you haven’t applied yet but want to, please do this asap as we will close for new entries on Wednesday Aug 3th.

We've have had to pause the online shop for the moment to take payments

All payments so far have gone though OK

It's back up and running but now using online banking rather than PayPal - we've had 14 pay already.

If you've received the payment email, it would be appreciated if you could make your payment soon as the clubs are having to pay upfront for tickets, insurance etc.

If you've been accepted for the event but not seen the payment email, have a look it 'trash' and if you still can't find it, pm me and I'll resend it.

It looks like we will have about 30 cars present on the day.

Lots has gone on in the last few days and we now believe pretty much everything is in place for the event. Even the weather's staying good!

The insurance is now sorted, which was the most critical enabler.

We've also got an exciting T-shirt offer for participants

The stickers and passes are now here, so the job today is to get them packed and sent out

I think this is going to be another great event organised by the club.
Hope you've got the media coverage sorted as well , although I guess that will be difficult with all the security involved.
