Brilliant - well done!

Looking forward to seeing the cost for this. I could do either option :cool

I would buy one of these kits. My "L" registered 1994 216 Cabriolet has 2 infrared fobs. One of them works, but one doesn't,

I would like to get back to a fully working system.

Brilliant work there. I'm keeping this in mind should I know of any owner of infrared cars in need of new fobs.

It does have central locking via the key blade though
I 2nd that, if you manage to make it work, I'd be interested...

Same with mine! Other fob seems to be dead. Craig at RR tried to get out working without success :(

There has since been a couple of updates to the pscan system that we have been working with them to resolve a few issue of which we haven't had any issues since (touch laminate coated wood).

Thanks for the interest and show of support on this project.

I don't think we are far off. I really need to get one fully installed in a car and tested for a while just to be sure.... its tricky for me as I don't actually one one, my own coupe being a 1998 model

..still need to work out the costings.

@rjessett I sent you a PM a few days ago but you may have missed it, some additional thoughts on your work and bits of R8 history to get you going...
