Pershore Plum Car Show 2025 - August Bank Holiday Monday

Post by Topcat Tomcat »

Hello Everyone.

I'm somewhat late in posting this, but if anyone is interested in showing their car at this excellent show, they need to submit their application by the 31st of July.

Unfortunately, due to various reasons, I won't be taking any cars this year, despite only living half a mile from the Park. However, I hope to be able to pop down at sometime during the day. See you there?

We should be going!

If you go on their Home page and look at the photos you'll see Hamish The Honda right at the front of the photo. Fame at last!

So it is! It was certainly interesting to see the differences between your car and an R8.

I had a quick wander around this morning before it got to hot and busy.

I don't think there were as many as last year, although there were a number of unusual and interesting vehicles I hadn't seen before.

The number of 'modern' Rovers was disappointing, but there was a late 45 in Seafrost Blue? A lovely colour.

Definitely less than last year and more "clubs" so we had a herd of Stags and loads of MGs, Mx5s and lots of other "groups", definitely less individual cars, they seem to be taking over which is rather a shame, I've seen too many shows recently where that's happening.

There were two R8s, my Concerto and a heavily modified 400 with lowered suspension and different engine and then that 45. Last year was better, but the Abbott beer in the White Horse was lovely!

I had to laugh when someone walking past the 400 said it was a Tomcat! Of course it was, it had a boot!!

I hope you put them straight!

And yes, it is a shame about certain makes taking over, even if it does bring in extra money for the Abbey.
