Adding Photographs to the Gallery

Post by Smithy »

Unfortunately hosting images directly on the club forum is not possible. However the good news is you can host the pictures elsewhere and link them to the forum.

Here's a good way to do this, using Photobucket.

All you need to do is go to Photobucket and create an account (it's free!).

Once you've got your account, click on the 'Browse' button in the 'Add Pictures' box. This will let you find the photo on your computer that you want to post. Once you've done that, click 'Submit', and your photo will appear in Photobucket.

Now you need to post the link to it on here. All you need to do is copy all the information in the 'URL' box inderneath your photo, and paste it into trhe posting box. Before the URL place

People will now be able to see your image when you press submit post.

If anyone has any problems then please ask.

The url is www.photobucket.com by the way - not co.uk which is some sort of scam advertising site

Hi, (.com) is a scam! Are you sure of your facts and is it not (.co.uk)? I need to make a post of my Rover but it's not possible on these sites without signing up for a free car as I'm supposed to be the 99,999 punter. What rubbish! David W

Hi,
You just need to COPY then PASTE the IMG code that is under the photo you have put onto Photobucket.
Hope that helps.
Regards Nudge.
