Club Expansion - The Result

Post by GTiJohn »

Regarding this important question
Should the Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club expand from covering only R8 models (1989-98) and specifically include other Rover 200- and Rover 400-badged models and Rover 25- and Rover 45- badged models?
Including votes cast at today's AGM the results for the motion to expand the scope of this club was as follows

Yes: 30
No: 4

This will mean a change to Section B Item 1 of the club constitution:

From: “To recruit and bring together owners and enthusiasts of the Rover 200 Mk2 and 400 Mk1”

To: “To recruit and bring together owners and enthusiasts of all models of Rover 200 and 400, and additionally Rover 25, 45 and Streetwise”

Many thanks to all who debated this topic and all who voted.

We made it onto page 3 of this week's Classic Car Weekly newspaper!

OK, so it's only in the 'News in Brief' column but page 2 :clapping

Our discussions were described as "intense" :laughing2
