That's an interesting method of engine/gearbox/suspension removal that you've come up with Craig! :D

The logic is, as most of those items are going to be coming off as well, it saves roughly 5hrs of labour to drop it from the car and do it with access than doing it in situe.

Only really possible if you have ways of getting the car 3ft off the ground obviously…*laughs*

Hmmm you've given me a thought there about changing the clutch, which is really high. Ive just installed myself a lift.

Then again, maybe no need go that far for a clutch i guess....

Maybe a transmission jack will help you more than dropping the engine.
