Quick question.
Was a 15" wheel option ever fitted to the 1992 214 GSi please?
I know what I CAN fit, but I'm trying to find out what Rover ORIGINALLY fitted - was there a 15" option?
Out here in Portugal, I can only fit the tyre size that the manufacturer originally fitted, and is listed on the vehicle registration document.
I'm currently on 14" rims with 175 tyres, but all 4 tyres need renewing, so I'm researching for evidence of Rover fitting the 15" wheel to the 1992 214GSi so I can perhaps get it added to the documents.

The answer's no, only 14" wheels and tyres were fitted to this model.
15" wheels and tyres became available on R8 with the introduction of the 3 door GTi, being standard on the Twin Cam. The 3 door single cam came with 14" steels with the option of 14" alloys, if I remember correctly. The lower 3 door models had 13 or 14" steels too
The SEi might have been the first 5 door fitted with 15" alloys as standard
