That looks really good. Those wheels look just right on that model and anything else would be an undesirable modification on such an original-looking car.

I agree Matthew. I think it would have been sacrilege to fit any other type of wheel really. At least these are authentic to the model year.

Naaaaaah. But funnily enough I saw a few alloys at BL Day in grey rather than the usual silver which looked very good!

So the 416 is now on a SORN for the winter.

Looking forward to next year already. Got a few things lined up - there's a noisy exhaust heat shield, and I want to get the cam belt done.
There's some minor paint issues (size of little fingernail) to sort out.

I want to also get under the bonnet and clean the engine bay properly using Gunk or similar.

Hope it fares well whilst it's laid up.

I would try to start her up every month and run until hot. Park with the h.brake off and chock the wheels.
