... for my 1994 (mk2) 214i cabby?
It looks that the one from Dark Ice Designs I've put in my Rover 25 1.4 doesn't do for the middle bolt.
It needs to be around half a cm higher not to be constricted by the highest injector (right one) & the coolant tank edge.
Any link would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Regarding the adjustable ones I fully agree.
Nevertheless on my cabby the Dark Ice one doesn't fit: I can screw 2 bolts (front & back) out of 3 on each side but the middle bolt is too low or the strut brace hole needs to be 1/2cm higher.

K-Series or Honda engine ?
K-series like all 214 mk1 to mk3 and 216 mk3 (but not the same indeed!).
I don't think the difference is huge in term of efficiency even if lots of people seem to incline to a 216 and its Honda engine (mk1 & 2).
I assume that now 214 cabbies tend to become rarer...
Moreover I think the 214 upsides are a better mpg and both insurance & registration document cheaper cost: in France a 214 is worth 6 fiscal hp when a 216 is 9 fiscal hp.
And above all the K engine is British made and a well known engine for me since I've got another one in my 25 (and in the past I'd got a 214Gsi saloon, my parents' car).
BTW I may add this Dark Ice rear brace strut in the boot as well in a close future to achieve the stiffness of the body:
There isn't any German Wiechers rear strut brace. They can only be found at Dark Ice's and I think that this time mk1, 2 or 3 will not make any difference.
The downside may be a little less room in the boot and causing a slight obstruction had I the idea to tilt the back seats, but the way isn't huge even without...

What about adding a 10mm washer under the strut brace
