Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club

The heater on my 216 Cabriolet produces uneven amounts of hot air to the drivers side compared with the passenger side. Whilst driving, my feet are cooked in the heat whilst my poor wife is freezing cold. Is there any adjustment or fix known for this problem?

Sounds like a slipping or broken cable in the heater assembly.
