A 'Northern Chapter' for the Club?

Post by djt2912 »

Hello All,

I live in the North West in between Chester and Whitchurch. I was wondering if there was enough support or members to form a Northern Chapter of the club?

My first thoughts are members who live in an area that covers Cheshire, North Shropshire, Manchester, Merseyside, Blackpool, Staffordshire and possibly into Lancs. Jackie and I were thinking of holding monthly meet ups at rotating locations so everyone shares travel distances etc. It could be a platform for a chat or possibly have a program of going to Northern shows en masse and flying the flag for the R8!

Firstly, we would need an idea of numbers and locations. If there are members in these areas who are interested, let us know!

I seem to have a Coupe 'acquaintance' in this area who always gives me a head lamp flash as we pass but I have had no opportunity to stop and talk yet! I think the Coupe guys are active up this end.

Thanks
Darrell

Good stuff. :clapping That's a start! It would be good to meet up when we have some idea who else is interested.

I used to work near Poynton so I know your part of the world reasonably well!

A Northern area group would be a great addition to go along with the Southwest / Lincolnshire ones.
