I have a fella comming this eve (really nice guy) for a mininal fee to check thr car over with his T4. He'll also do a "live" check?... So, my tak is to get the car in to the faulty state!!!!!

Fule filter is about the newest part on the car.... *laughs*.... I'm about to remove the Air Intake Control Valve and clean it. Irronic really, we've decided to wash and valet the car and I just so happened to have some brake cleaner to hand,,,,.... Guess what just go shot in to the Throttle body...? *laughs*... I decided to spray it and let it sit... Spray again and turn the car on, that was interesting, it did have trouble...

Hi All, We have a rover 25 1.4 iS. W-2000 Reg. I have the most strange issue with the car! Intermittanly the car will rough idle, like its hunting, revvs up and down (not by much). If you try and drive the car in this state, the car wont go. Then only cure for this is to really stamp on the gas. The...

Head is off too.... Guess we'll check to make sure its flat and start the rebuild!

Hey All, We've removed the head from my 214 (1995) and it was obvoius that the cylinder nearest the gearbox had water in it.. There was NO evedence of any kind that the head gasket had failed, It was the "original" design though. The head looks very good too.... My question here is, we are...

Took the car to the Mechaic, didnt give it a chance to even get warm! Well, it got to the Qtr mark on the heat gauge and by this time the car was missfireing like a good'en!

Oh well. lets hop for the best!
