Re: Streetwise Wheels
I think you missed my question here, my Streetwise is running on 17 inch Adendum alloys and quite nice they are, I was looking to get a set of the Steel Wheels as fitted to the early base models i think. From the odd picture i've seen they were cream with 16 small holes and a small black centre trim...

Re: Streetwise Wheels
Hi I'd be surprised if they weren't used on something else, after all why not use a wheel you already specced for something else, esp when there were car with steels as standard. Tho i must admit i'd not considered the space saver angle, esp as mine has a full sized alloy as a spare and its a 2005 c...

Streetwise Wheels
Hi All Just out of curiosity really, though they look nice. Were the cream steel wheels fitted to the base Streetwise, so multi circular holes (16 I think) fitted to other Rovers 25's or 45's behind wheel covers, obvs in black. Thought it might be nice be nice to get a set and refurb them in cream. ...

Re: K series misfire diagnosis
Hi
I was thinking along the same lines but wondered if there were any other common culprits on a K series.
So unless someone comes up with a code specific idea i'll put some Premium Unleaded in and give it a run about.
Cheers Bean

Re: Battery charging Auto electrician advice needed
Hi Keith Cheers for that. My car sits outside so attaching a battery charger means getting the extension out and putting it through the front door, which is the bit thats the pain and difficult to do for overnight charging or taking the battery off the car, more of a pain, esp as the front drivers d...

Re: Battery charging Auto electrician advice needed
Hi Keith Appreciate the comments. I do pretty much the same tho i'm not sure my battery lasts that long. I just wanted to get rid of the faff of getting the charger and extension cable out and setting it all up every couple of weeks, thats of course if i remember to do that before it won't start aga...

Battery charging Auto electrician advice needed
Hi All Slighhtly off the wall question to any knowlegable auto electricians out there. My 25SW battery keeps going flat. Reasonably simple reason, it generally does short journeys so not enough charging and can sit for weeks without being used. Now ages ago I saw a solar charger that purportedly plu...

Re: Rover lock barrels
Hi All "MG's were traditionally somewhat designed around the high-volume parts bins after all!" Exactly what i was thinking, but not sure. I'll keep looking for a lock barrel, but sadly scrappys arn't what they were, so i'll repeat the request, anyone got a lock barrel with no key they don...
