MK3 Dash Convo

Post by RTG_220 »

Well after the Rovers "accident" i felt i needed to do something to make me and the 220 fell better,

I decided to start with a dash convo from the old standard 220 dash,

This is now it looks at the moment with the first bits ive changed, not much really but looks alot better than standard (above) :

But its time for a change, so i got my self a mk3 200 bubble dash and have started to customize it to suit the 220 more, the only thing that im waiting for is the white dials for the speedo and heater buttons and switches etc....

this it what it looked like when i first got it :

A few parts were missing as you can see from the pic above, so i finally tracked them down in a local scrappy and even got one of the very rare dash pockets to replace the airbag part of the dash FOR FREE!!!!!

Anyway alot of time, swearing, pain and suffering later, im soooooo close to finished! i stil cant decide if i should do do the centre part of the dash or if that would be too much but anyway here is how it looks at the moment

Needs a good clean to get rid of all the dust from all the sanding etc...... to really bring back the black of the dash itself but im very pleased with how it looks and cant wait to fit it..... ....or can i *laughs*,

Hope ya like + comments welcome

Enjoy

It'll look very smart when its done :thumbup1
What will you be doing with the old seats and door cards? I might be intrested in them if they'll fit a 3 door hatch.
