Rover 400 locking wheel nuts

i have a small problem my old man has gone and got a very nice 400 series in a V plate here is the problem it has standerd rover alloys on it with rover locking wheel nuts he did no get the key for the nuts so he cant get the wheels of any ideas were i can get a replacement as i dont have any code or any way to identify the wheel nuts fitted.

There are a few options,

1. The judicious use of a chisel to remove the old nuts
2. The use of a slightly smaller socket hammered over the nuts
3. The use of specially deseigned sockets available to remove locking wheel nuts. (I think machine mart stock them).

If you take it to a tyre place they'll be able to remove them for you.

I have had good results in the past with a 13/16 inch ring spanner and a Pozidrive screwdriver. Put the spanner over the offending nut (having removed the stainless cap, of course), then poke the screwdriver through the ring of the spanner into one of the recesses on the nut. It will then undo.......
