Horn relay

Post by Dorset Dave »

Can someone tell me where the horn relay is on a 94 cabrio? I want to try to disconnect the alarm from it. I have the centre console stripped out but can't see which one it is. Thanks for looking.

Found the horn relay, it is part of the white relay box behind the fascia that surrounds the radio. Fitting a simple switch into the purple and black wire isolates the horn either when the alarm goes off or the horn button is pressed. Putting the switch in the "on" position reverts everything to Factory settings. The immobiliser is not affected by the switch. It seems that there are many variations on our cars!
