I've picked up a spare water pump from Ebay with the Unipart Number GWP 2157 can someone cross ref' that for me?
bought for a D16.

According to my 1994 Unipart catalogue, GWP2157 fits a 216 Injection, from 10/1989 until 04/1991 (no engine number or VIN is quoted)

Thereafter, GWP2163 should be used.

The supercession for GWP2157 is PEB10139SLP should you need it. Amazingly Rimmers have one in stock!

Thanks for looking that up, I bought a new old stock item from eBay. I can't see the engine build order changing so assume that this will fit as and when needed. The water pumps are interchangeable between single cam & double cam engines according to my research.

So I'm guessing UNIPART changed part number because they sourced a alternative supplier.
