hello,
I've just been bequeathed a 1990 214Si (with a late 400 grill bonnet) to use as a runaround. It's a braw little motor, but has been in the hands of someone who parks by touch, rather than sight and looks a bit the worse for wear.
Two things I'd like to address.
Firstly, the end of the rear bumper has popped off the catch and it looks like the only way to replace it is by removing the whole bumper and refitting it. Anything I need to know about getting the bumper off or any shortcuts i can take? There don't appear to be any fixings in the boot, so I presume they are all underneath
Also - the panel lights behind the heater controls are all dead. How tough if is it to get this apart and what bulbs do i need?
The Haynes manual has been bought from ebay, but not arrived yet...
Any help much appreciated.
