I am minus the 216GTi (the one in the banner pic above with the 'square' indicators) but it's morphed into a pre-grille, white, 220 Coupe turbo

It needs work, but it's a long term project...and I am happy as a pig in, well, you get the idea

The GTi has gone back to Keith on aronline.co.uk (who I got it from) in a swap deal.

So, I've now got a white 220 Coupe turbo and a white 220GSi hatch. Phew!

So you sort the rust out on the 216GTi for Keith, and he swaps you a rusty coupe turbo.

I bet when you sort the rust out on this one he will want to swap back again.

You don't see many white ones about.

Nah, it was all part of the deal.

The original idea was for him to sort the coupe and me to sort the GTi but he ran out of time - but we've swapped cars and some money has swapped from him to me too.

I'm sorry if I missed your post...but you were going to offer a comparison between the 216GTi and the 220GTi?
I'm guessing you've taken a liking to the Rover engine, or Keith might have ended up with a white one?
