AAAAAAHHHHHHH really mad

Post by FIL »

Right here we go,
have just bought a 214 k16 1994 reg.
Timing belt snapped.
Replaced cylinder head with second hand 1 skimmed and presure tested fitted new timing belt all gone together lovely BUT.

The cam oil seal on the distributor end keeps winding itself out and chucking oil out at a fantastic rate. I have 14 years motor trade experience and have never come across this. There is a little crank case compression but not that much.

Any Ideas I did use the cams from the original head and am thinking that it may be bent so am going to change the cams / cam box and all four oil seals ( and I know there are Orange for one end and brown for the other.

Very desperate the weather aint to good for out in the street spannering *laughs*

Thanks Fil
