Clock illumination

Post by jalopyjoe »

Anyone know if the clock in my 216GSI should be backlit? If it should be how do I get to the bulb to change it?

Yup it should be back lit by a sexy orange glow :tt2

You'll need to carefully prise the wood strip out to change the bulb. If you start on the sweeping bend on the left hand side by the passenger door it will pop out as it's only held by retaining clips.

With the emphasis on CAREFULLY :angel

If you use a large flat blade screw driver, that will spread the load on the trim.

The bulb is a horrible little panel illumination type that is almost, but not quite the same as the instrument panel illumination size. Doh :S
