DCK Project started

Post by RoverRevival »

This is a hounding thread to get Kev to let me start on this coupe turbo

Make no bodes about it, it needs a lot of work and more importantly a new heart.

But its running Avo coil overs, piper exhaust and seems to be polybushed.
But the painter of this car was a muppet :laughing2

Well i'm not saying that was fun (because it wasn't).

5hrs later and all the braking components are now off the car and i need a new set of nut extractors :mad

Few nice surprises though, like:
Avo coil overs
Goodridge Braided brake pipes
and poly bushes everywhere

So thats a few jobs that won't need tackling.

Hover car pose after i just got it in the air ready to start

Previous drilled, groved and rusted 282 front brakes, yes you are correct, there is no brake pads or securing screws for the discs :mellow

Yey, we achieved something - well, okay - it was just moral support when needed. Got to be worth doing this one, it actually looks very tidy from what I've seen of it.

I dread the day when I have to do what you're doing in the pictures. I may just bung you some money and take a chill pill...
