Hello
I have just bought a Rover 214Si with a genuine 29000 miles from new. I had one of the 28 years ago previously
I am in Bournville Birmingham and look forward to getting out and about once I have serviced it and changed the Cam Belt (any advise on this?)
Also I appear to have a non working 652 Radio/Cassette unit, I get power but no symbols at all so I cant recode it? again any advise?
Many thanks
Regards
In the Members Area you will be able to download the Rover technical manuals which will detail how to renew the cam belt, complete with torque settings.

2004 75 CDTi Connie - Firefrost
She looks really nice is it an early or late 94? which inlet manifold has she got? Its registered 15th March 94. I'm not sure re the inlet manifold, I didnt know there were different ones! How will I tell which one I have and is there any issue with either?
Is the paint Silver with Blue undercoat? if so that makes two of us [94 model year] with very similar mileage! The car is Metallic Quicksilver with the Tempest Grey Lower
Mine goes like a rocket much faster than my 95 414Si although that one had covered over 100,000 miles when I got rid of it.

Regarding the radio there should be a radio code card in with the drivers handbook.
I have the Radio Code Card, the issue is that when you turn the radio on, although it lights up, there is nothing showing on the screen, I thought that it should show "C" so you could enter the code, but there is nothing showing, Ive tried entering the code "blind" but that didnt work?
