214 erattic idle when cold.

hallo, my 214 has deceided to idle a little eratically until warm, any ideas ? drives ok when warm.

Do you mean the revs are high?

no, you have to keep the revs high or it could cut out, the it hunts a bit and then ticks over at approx 1200 revs.

You could try a stepper motor reset, i had to do that on mine as it used to idle at 2000 rpm!

Turn the key to position 2
Press & release the accelerator pedal 5 times.

It will now be reset, try that and see how it does

Press the accelerator rapidly 5 times while at key 2 position. Then turn off. Take key out and youll hear a quite loud clicking sound. Restart her back up and see it its worked. It should have.
