powerflow claim to be the no1 for the power and a bit more torque. As for the sound, well thats prob your choice... I think a powerflow dealer who will fit it for you will be able to let you know the best box to go for for teh sound if you explain to him what you want.

Powerflow i think are very cheap too... you can prob get a full system for around 250...

Im having a powerflow sometime in the summer :)

Are you after the full system or just the back box?

http://www.powerflowexhausts.net/GALLER ... .cfm?ID=73 <--- thats nice but personally i prefer just one big bore.

The main power you get will come from a new cat... A sports cat will set you back a few hundred on its own :? but will increase your bhp by upto about 14.

Or just scrape out whats inside your cat at the mo and you'll get around 8+bhp. but rememebr you need it for teh mot so maybe not such a good idea

I talk dumbo sometimes

Decatted my 214 performed worse than with the cat in place.

Powerflow are not the best around, (the quality varies a lot from place to place as it is a franchise), also a lot of their stuff is compression bent rather than mandrel bent.

To be honest you won't see a huge power gain from any exhaust on the 214.

The 1.4 K series came in lots of different power versions
There is 8v and 16v versions.
Then there is Spi or Mpi injection systems too
then on the bubbles they released a restricted power version too to make it more insurance friendly (something like 84PS)

A 16v MPi with an unrestricted throttle puts out 103bhp which is 105PS
Very respectable performance for a 1.4. Especially as those figures are competative today let alone back in the 90's when the car was launched. for a 1.4 they really do shift.
