You need a repair to the heater resistor, such as this:

My sister owns a 1989 Ford Probe GT Turbo. Recently I guess, The heater in the car will not work. Now I have worked on cars before but never with the heating. I've read things about Blower Motors and all sorts of fun stuff. Now I haven't assested the car yet so I'm not sure what all it is doing. However, to my knowledge the heater just isn't working. Can someone please explain what to check for. How to check to see if the Blower Motor is bad and what the Blower motor looks like and where It would be at in the Engine Compartment and all solutions to this problem. all help is greatly thanked!

Probably best off asking on a probe owners forum, but usually the heater motor is behind the dash not in the engine bay.

Sometimes changing it is easy, sometimes it is a complete dash removal job.
That is of course if it needs changing.
