Well it looks like i am now the proud owner of a 1999 T reg 416 sli. It came in px at work. The elderly owner who had owned the car from new had treated himself to a new VW Polo. Anyhow it is finished in nightfire red. it has quite good spec. front+rear electric windows,abs,alloy wheels,front foglamps. The mot ran out last week.
So i hear you ask what price did pay for this bit of fine British motoring history. Well i was told due to the age+the mot running out last week i could have it for...........free
So the good points.
4 new Avon tyres.

Fully sevice history.
It was free.
Now the not so good news
No mot

Thanks. The first thing to do is book it in for a mot. I've just checked out the cars mot history on the vosa website. It failed its last test due to corrosion . But as we all know no two mots are the same. Especially as it was done. At kwick fit.
