Another 216 GTi - update!

Post by 216GSi »

Popular cars in this section eh?

Quick pics after a quick clean today. I'll probably do some better ones in the summer after I've spent some proper time cleaning and polishing, but these will have to do for now.

This is an early version that has been subtley modified with standard parts taken from later models. It's also the one from the header pic above ;)

Little bits and pieces need doing, but I'll get there slowly but surely!

Nice to see a few GTi's about (even if they are 216's :tt2 ) , seem to be getting more and more scarce!

Would look great a bit lower in my opinion.

43k on the clock and a service history that should have kept MG/Rover afloat. It was serviced EVERY 6 months, according to the schedule (so it got a 60k service at about 22k) and even had two services when covering just 400 miles once and has had two cambelt changes etc.

Needs MOT and tax and then it will get a rude awakening! :tt2
