Mucky motors are fine, what car is it?

Thats quite a journey you've got!

We were thinking of meeting up at the polish war memorial on the A40 if you know it, bout 4pm?

Yep....I can come onto the A40 Northolt way.....is there some parking space near the roundabout/memorial for us to pause and meet?

4pmish sounds grand. By the time we get to the Ace, there'll be less bikes...we might find somewhere close to park on arrival.

Must say though Owen....the forecast is getting a bit damp n grey...!

Is the A40 still Gatso mad along that strip...?

Do you have a rough idea of numbers?
I mean...do they need to know we're dropping by for a cuppa una chat?
They might want to do extra fries, or something.

No idea on numbers but there used to crowds at the ace.

Its not too bad before the war memorial but gets abit silly later on, 50 then down to a 40 but you can't really go much quicker anyways with the cars on the road!

Well...I don't know where you lot were hiding...?!

Anyway.....being as I had the ONLY Rover at The Ace....it seemed a little pointless sharing stories about that with Harley owners.

So we talked bikes, instead!

I must say though....I would have expected bikers to stay in the dry...not Rover owners

Maybe next time...!

The meet was yesterday! thought it was abit odd you didn't turn up, but i just put that down to changing your mind. Shame as i was the only GTi there, would liked to have had a bit of a chin wag with a fellow Ronda owner ;)

That was a shame, sorry you had a wasted journey nick, can imagine you were abit shocked to see an empty car park!!
