You say you expected better coverage of the "car display" - which of course you did - but did you really think you would be appreciated by the organisers and the media?

Fantastic show and all the cars looked great; real dedication from the owners. Shame there didn’t appear to be an R3 or Streetwise in the mix🙁

Well chaps,

What an experience that was, I’m still getting over it now. Something myself and no doubt the others will remember for a long time to come.

A real sense of achievement and proudness perfecting that 5minutes of fame on TV as a team for the royal family. I think all 3 cars got some good exposure across the opening ceremony especially Tom’s coupe 8)

Here are a few of my favourite photos during the rehearsals and opening ceremony.

So just putting an end to the Common Wealth Games, a very special 'thank you' gift came through the post from the organisers totally unexpected including a framed photo and a copy of the programme.

Here is a YouTube video from one of the Mini drivers, really good quality and also including the voice over audio from the instructors telling us what to do on the night - https://youtu.be/iytWQ7ChbII

And with everything that's gone on with the Royal family and the passing of the Queen (RIP), it makes the whole experience even more special to us all and makes us feel very proud

What a start contrast between then & now.

Did I see a White over Tempest R8 there or was it a Montego under the lights? :S

Anyway a nice video! :D

Thanks for sharing James.

And it’s definitely a white 400!

I didn't get chance to speak with him, he was in a different team to me and the other tomcats.

Here's a few professional photos from the official photographer, Unfortunately I'm not prepared to pay £300 a photo so I'll live with the watermark copies *laughs*.
