Considering the support they have given to this club I would suggest we include a coupe and possible some coupe club advertising on the stand to promote the R8 as a complete package. Whilst not 100% required, I think they assistance and enthusiasm they bring to events would be a useful asset to the club stand and earn some goodwill.

Coupe, Cabriolet and Tourer would be my top 3, followed by 3 door hatch and saloon

A mix of good cars is essential rather than restricting to type though. There were loads of different types of R8 siloette so lets celebrate that (indeed that is why the club flag is designed as the way it is. Few other models get 6 bodyshapes out of one design.

Email through to Paul and I and we're in Hall 5 along with several other Rover clubs in between Ford and Rootes.

Does look a bit of an end corner location ....

Near the Sporting Bears

Perhaps an informal gathering of interested parties over coffee would be good at Gaydon on Sunday to float some ideas around (if we are not all busy :wink3 )

All ideas welcomed :)

Sounds like a good idea Paul.

At the first NEC motor shows BL cars were always across the far end of Hall 5 so it can't be to bad as a position!

With only a month until the show, we need to get this back at the top of the list.

We have our volunteered/selected cars now, I have done all the necessary paperwork for the NEC people.

So, who will be coming? And on which day(s)?

I'm happy to be there for the Friday Set up and later on the Sunday for the Strip Down.

I've booked Fri off work as I'm still trying to confirm the Mike Gould book signing for that day.

I'm thinking I'll do one whole day but I'll stay out of the way on the Fri or on other days if we're over-subscribed.

I will be there for set up on Thursday as I'm bringing the carpet tiles and logically it would suit me to do Sunday as I will then be there for break down in the evening. I will need a "support vehicle" pass to drop off/collect the carpet tiles unless someone fancies carrying them from the car park!

I will be there all weekend as my car is on the stand and I am staying in a hotel nearby.

As car is on stand I will be there probably all but one day. I shall also see if Carl can sort out some rover press car show plates. :)
