I know you have a Dunlop GTI now John, but do you still have this car?

Just curious to know where/what's happened to it since being side tracked :wink3

Re: Rover 220 Coupe Turbo Ex-Dunlop Racer

Very nice! I'm surprised by the UNIPART filter, or was it new old stock? everything I've bought of late had MG Rover on it, or now just a white filter case. :) A bunch of them came up for sale not so long ago and I think they are new old stock items, very nicely preserved if so! Re: Rover 220 Coupe Turbo Ex-Dunlop Racer

Thanks Thomas! Amazing how time flys, it’s been a good 2 years I recon since I’ve provided a decent update so it’s well overdue. As expected, 2025 has been busy due to our main bathroom needing refurbishment (carried out by myself), family holiday, getting Married and then honeymoon. Getting my prio...

Re: Rover 220 Coupe Turbo Ex-Dunlop Racer

Have you managed any progress on the car this year? Hey Plodder, Unfortunately very little progress for a while now. I had the opportunity to go on a European road trip back in May in my other coupe, so I spent a good amount of time earlier this year getting the car sorted for the trip. https://i.i...

Re: Rover 220 Coupe Turbo Ex-Dunlop Racer

So a quick update on the racer, Not much has happened since the gearbox swap really, mainly due to other car related issues which have taken up my time. Pulled the racer outside the garage over Christmas along with the FDH so I could give the garage a good clean. I let the car get up to temperature ...
