How about "What's going on" Can I assume from the fact that you have decided a theme, that you are organising the whole event.

The theme is decided by the venue for all exhibitors to come up with ideas from. All in the paperwork, hopefully you have this from Carl now.

I was thinking maybe a modified car, or a restoration project where a story could be told? or a story about honda/rover collaboration and have a concerto on the stand?

What is that stand space so we know how many cars are needed.

Smithy wrote:Hi Carl,

I believe there is some confusion!

The person whom is responsible and present for the whole weekend is required to fill in all the forms, undertake the risk assessment, ensure cars are present, make sure the owners know which gate to drop off, that they have the right tickets, etc along with a host of other things.

Ken has kindly volunteered to undertake the above role and be the main point of contact, and has enquired with myself/Nigel what preparation is required before the show.

Can you please make sure Ken gets all the paperwork required to do this, and also let the NEC organisers know the change of contact details so Ken will get all the relevant links for the documentation, etc.

That isn't to say you are not involved in the planning if you want to be. There is so much more to than just fill in forms. Cars for showing will need to be decided upon, stand layout, ideas for the theme will be needed, stand paraphernalia for the theme will need to be sourced/made and then worked out how it is being dropped off at the NEC and picked up. It is a big event to organise as myself and Nigel can testify to and I am sure Ken will appreciate the extra help in planning the event.

Carl, Ken is still waiting for the details please contact him! Otherwise we will need to contact the NEC organisers direct.

What are you sorting Carl?

Ken has kindly offered to take responsibility for the event and at this present point in time he knows nothing about what he is responsible for as he has no paperwork and you have not spoken to him!
