Cheers MJ,
Keep me posted with updates on here and I'll keep an eye out for them. Trying to get to 4 or 5 shows at least this year so hopefully will see some other members soon.

Hi Hammond one of the shows is on the 5th June at Chippenham if you want to come along email your details of the car to cvs@chippenhamlions.org.uk and state our club The Rover 200/400 Owners club and with abit of luck they will put you with our application.

I've just read this thread with dismay.... Trevor, I hope you are going to continue with local events plus Paul and others I've met up with in past. I shall try to attend the meet up on 26th March to show some support, still got the gold 216 SLi which is used most days and the old Mk I 216.

Re original posting, lets hope more enthusiasts out there come forward on here and maybe to some organised meets.

Recently I posted up a list of events in the SW area, some of which may be worth a look at?

Hi Scrumpy,

Time long, see no!

Hope you can make it on the 26th of March, it'll be great to see you again and we are planning on doing some shows together (myself, my dad, Trevor and Diane and hopefully a few more) which we're really looking forward to. Just need the weather to play ball. . . .

Just to whet the appetite a little bit more for the 26th of March, we'll be bringing along our recent automotive purchase.

It's not a Rover, it is four-wheel drive and it goes like a rocket (won't be my Quattro either).

I wonder what it is. . . ? :D

See you all on the 26th.

Unfortunately other plans have got in the way now :cursing (ie - having to take my daughter to the airport), so I won't be able to make this day as planned. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one, I shall look out for updates.
Have a good meet up and see you next time! :cool

Hi Hammond,

Pity you can't make it this Saturday, the next one will be the last Saturday in May, ask your daughter to buy you lunch that day! :laughing2

Di,

Nice try but no, it's not a tratter!

As it's you though, I'll give you a clue.

It's silver! :laughing
