Re: 4x4cab

I've said for years a 4 wheel drive 200 isn't beyond the realms of possibility. How are you planning to do it or is a secret? The options as far as I can tell are; 1. Use the 4th gen civic shuttle 4wd system which is quite compact, mates to a D16 and all the existing rear suspension mounts plus come...

Re: Best exhaust bore size for 216GTi twincam

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll go for a 2 1/4" system.

Stubby44, are you limited to running the standard PGMFi injection and inlet manifold? It looks quite restrictive in its standard form. I know the D16a1 pistons have a higher deck than the a9 which may help with compression a little.

Re: Best exhaust bore size for 216GTi twincam

Just got back on to this after a manic 6 months at work and then a trip to Nurburg. ;) The situation is that I'm now going to run bike carbs (Yamaha R1) and a Megajolt ignition. I've got a Japspeed 4-2-1 exhaust manifold coming off the engine. I've said I'll be happy with 150-160 from this set up al...

Nope, K series and R65u gearbox.

R65u with 3.7 final drive if its the same as the bubble (also found in Metro GTi without the u).

214s have 3.9 final drive if you like acceleration and Rover 100 8v have a 3.5 final drive which is useful if you want a cruising box.

Rear disc handbrake bracket.

Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to recognise if the bracket for the handbrake on the back of a 216 with discs will fit this caliper and cable. I got the axle from a 1st gen integra to fit to my 213S as it has discs rather than drums but unfortunately there was no bracket on the caliper. So anyon...

Such clean whiteness on a 3 door 200. If only mine hadn't blown up :laughing2

Clear repeaters look good.

there are mounting kits available to convert D16 to B16.
Since the 2nd gen CRX and the Mk2 Rover 200 are both based on the 4th Gen Civic platform I can't see anything else being required that couldn't come from a donor car like that, except perhaps the need for an exhaust.
