Thanks for that but I don't think the original colour was black, they are currently a very faded grey so I am looking for a product that will bring them back to something which will match the lower half of the cars bodywork, i.e Tempest Grey ??
I have grey plastic bumpers on my 214 and have used Autoglym bumper cleaner/restorer. I've used it for several years and it is quite effective but you need to do it two or three times a year. Also good for the other bits of grey plastic trim. BTW, got a new set of plastic front mudflaps (grey) from Rimmers recently. List price around £20, got them for about £3.50 - going cheap.

Yes, I have some of that grey wax for plastic and a very good product it is too.
If the trim is really 'white' a couple of coats are needed.
I'll hunt out the bottle and post details.
