It did turn out to be the pink relay under the dash.

My headlights recently started playing up.
Side lights work and so does high beam but no head lights. Any help appreciated.

The pump does prime and fuel comes out of feed when tested. I wondered if the pump could be weak and not pumping at required pressure.
I was thinking about the crank censor next.
But what's annoying is that I have fuel and spark!

Everytime I wash my car with the engine running
the engine will cut out when water runs down the front screen and down the front scuttle.
Any idea's what its touching to cause an earth?

I believe the top end is ok timing wise.
Ive timed the crank using the mark on the front of the pully .
Its on the mark to the right of TDC.
Before i had it on TDC.
This made it run like a bag of bolts.
where should the mark on the back of the pully be facing.?
